In 2013 and 2014, we designed the visual experience for the Experience Design Summit, organized by the School of Interaction Design of Universidad Véritas.
The great challenge at designing the ExDS staging was to enhance a limited space through simple resources. We mixed craft and technology to achieve it.
Both years coincided in the outcome. We generated an immersive experience in Auditorio Sasso Sasso, at Universidad Véritas.
Véritas University held the Experience Design Summit in 2013 and 2014, an event featuring conferences and workshops focused on experience design.
From the sketches to the assembly of the last projection panel, we brought the stage to life in 2013 and 2014.
The first year we focused on geometry. From physical cubes and video mapping, we created a volumetric space.
For the second year, we expanded the stage with basic elements. Cardboard, scissors and glue were the elements used to achieve space expansion.
We added an additional element: light. We built LED lamps that reacted in sync with the content from the speaker presentations.
